Default Unconventional Split

This is a crazy split build I've been wanting to run for ages, and would probably try and convince someone to if I still played the game. It should be strong as hell on Frozen if you run that as your home map, and not too gimped by other maps.

Your main source of damage at the flag stand is two hammer warriors with three knockdowns and Judges Insight. You also have conditional damage in the form of Reversal of Domage and Smite Hex.

Balthazar's Pendulum is a spammable anti-KD (which also has the side-effect of KDing the Warrior who just tried to Bull's your Monk on the ice). You also have strong party healing on this character in the form of high specced Heaven's Delight and Divine Healing. Smiters Boon and the limited prot ability of this character help your stand team sponge damage whilst still having the capability to get kills and give your split an opening.

Your split of a Coward Warrior and a Cripshot adds even more snares, and will be brutal on collapse. If you are for some reason struggling to get kills with two JI Hammer Warriors doing crazy damage then you can always just play 8v8 and train the living crap out of stuff.

The Monk runner is an old template of mine. It adds a very strong snare, and it's durability allows you to either split very aggressively or defend your base from multiple opponents solo without your split needing to worry.

On maps other than Frozen the only thing that really gets significantly worse would be the effectiveness of "Coward!" (which can be swapped out) and the value of Balthazar's Pendulum (which really can't). I don't think this is too crippling for the build.

I know. Four Monks and enough snares/KDs to lock the other team moving anywhere. This is, my friends, a very gay euro build... but it should at least be a fun and effective one.

(Excuse the formatting, GWShack appears to be down for me.)

Hmmm, seems strong build. Split that is. If (for God knows what reason) you have to fight em 8v8 for a while (On Frozen that's rare tough) you're effed to say the least...

Nice skill bars, KD Spam + Frozen = win (Everyone knows that), BUT as I said. In the end, you're hoping that your split WILL work, or it's /resign at VoD...

It's pretty much a fun build to run on smurfs/pugs, to be honest. That's not to say it wouldn't be effective, say for example in an AT match where you know you are going to get Frozen, but it's definately not a strong ladder build.

why such a heavily splittable coward? theres nothing wrong with that but you have so many other splitters on that team, it seems gimpy to run a 20 sec cancel considering the teammates and nature of frozen.

oh and gwshack appears to not be working for me either >.<

JR, I'd assume that the invisible 8th skill on the Cripshot bar is Apply?

It looks... fun at least.

What's up with running final over steelfang on the "Coward" war?

The build looks pretty cute. You have to love the power of Balthazar's pendulum on a map like Frozen.

So many snares.

As is obvious, absolute ownage of frozen. The other team will spend half their life sitting stuck on the ice.

Drop the monk runner for a mesmer runner. Problem solved.

I think I just fell in love with the build

Also, small detail, but it bothers me.. Ranger atts should be 14/10/10/3, not 14/10/10/2
